As a real estate appraiser by trade in southwest Missouri, I have spent countless hours in an uncomfortable office chair that was purchased at the local office retail chain. While chairs purchased at the local retail outlet may sometimes fit the bill, often times they feel like sitting on a hard church pew after a year or so. Typically, these cheap office chairs can be purchased for around 100 bucks and are good to last for only a year or so if they are used for any continued length of time.

If, like me, you spend ten hours or more per week in your office chair at work or home, you most likely need a chair that is made for such wear and tear and continued use. While I have not had the opportunity to sit in each chair I sell for continued lengths of time, many of them are used in my office by me and other employees everyday. SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Typically, all orders are filled and shipped within two business days of the order being placed. Once the order is shipped, please allow up to 14 business days to receive your chair(s).

In most cases all items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii will incur a $80.00 shipping charge PER ITEM. All orders on chairs sent to Canada will be charged a $100.00 shipping fee.

Some larger shipments cannot be left at your door without your signature. We are not held responsible for freight costs incurred by returned shipments for this reason. We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on refused shipments. We reserve the right to bill you for incorrect delivery addresses, typos caused by you when your order was placed and requests to forward shipments to another address. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

REFUND, RETURNS, AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:

If for any reason you would like to return your chair(s), in most cases we can schedule a pick up directly from your location. Once the item/items have been returned to the warehouse, we will refund your purchase price minus the return freight cost and our actual outbound shipping costs. All merchandise must be received back to us in the condition and cartons in which it was sent within 30 days from the date of purchase.

All seating ships directly from the warehouse. All damaged merchandise will be replaced and/or repaired at our discretion. It is the responsibility of each buyer of an office chair to inspect all shipments received by ThriftyChair.com for damage. While it is extremely rare, on occasion, a chair can arrive at its final destination damaged. If this occurs, it must be documented with the driver of the delivery company at the time of delivery. If the driver refuses to wait for a full inspection of the contents delivered please note this on the delivery slip. Please call us if you were unable to refuse shipment and have received a damaged chair via FedEX/UPS and we will send out replacement parts for your chair. Additionally, within 24 hours you will need to file a damage freight claim with FedEx/UPS.

If you cancel your order you will receive confirmation in writing. If you have not received confirmation, your order has not been cancelled and WILL STILL BE SHIPPED. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled and costs for round trip shipping and restocking fees will be deducted from refunds if orders are refused. Please note that restocking fees are set by the manufacturer of the merchandise and not ThriftyChair.com. Typically restocking fees range between 10% to 25% of the purchase price.

Please understand that ThriftyChair.com's 30 day money back guarantee applies only to office chairs. Thriftychair.com CANNOT under any condition take back anything other than office chairs. Orders of three or more are subject to a 40% re-stocking fee. On all returned merchandise, your credit card will be charged for both outbound and inbound shipping charges. If you receive a damaged chair that cannot be fixed with replacement parts, we will replace the chair at no additional cost to you.

If you receive damaged merchandise please call our office immediately and we will take what action we can to ensure your product is repaired or replaced. WARRANTIES:

Most of our chairs feature one year to lifetime warranties. Typically, these warranties cover all replacement parts for all chairs for up to three years. Please see below the item description on each product to view more specific warranty information.

SALES TAX:

All orders shipping to final destinations within the state of Missouri are subject to a 6.85% sales tax. All other states are Sales Tax Free!
